Gordon Pearson spent roughly twenty years in industry in advertising, electronics, office equipment, building materials, metal industries and quarrying, in various management roles including production control, industrial engineering, marketing and general management with board level responsibility for marketing, finance and accounting, personnel and industrial relations, IT development, buying, strategic planning and acquisitions.
Subsequently joined academia at Keele University Department of Management, some time head of department and director of MBA programmes. Currently honorary senior research fellow at Keele.
BSc management science at Warwick University, PhD (researching innovation, strategy and culture) at Manchester Business School.
